Banana Muffin

  1. Banana - 3 Big Bananas (Ripe preferred)
  2. All Purpose flour - 2 cups
  3. Milk powder - 1 cup
  4. Sugar - 1 cup
  5. Baking powder - 1tsp
  6. Cooking Oil/ melted unsalted butter- 1cup
  7. Pinch of salt
  8. Whipped Cream- 1 cup
  9. Milk - 1/4 small cup
  • In a bowl, mix all purpose flour with baking powder, milk powder and salt.
  • In another bowl, mix oil with sugar, stir and dissolve all crystals of sugar.
  • Add mashed banana in the sugar mixture, mix and make banana completely dissolved.
  • Add flour mixture to oil mixture slowly and keep on stirring to mix  flour.
  • Add  milk and mix so that flour lumps are not formed .
  • Add flour mixture slowly to the sugar mixture, stir to make all lumps of flour disappear.
  • Add whole almonds and cashews.
  • Transfer the batter in a baking dish.
  • Bake it for 35-40 minutes at 350 degree F.
  • Check after 30 minutes.
  • Insert toothpick in the center on cake to see whether it's done or not.
  • Cook it for another 5 minutes. Repeat the process of toothpick.

Crispy Stuffed Okra (Kurkure Bharwan Bhindi)


  1. Okra- 15-20 (raw)
  2. Salt to taste
  3. Turmeric Powder- 1 tsp
  4. Red Chilli Powder-  1/2 tsp
  5. Cumin Powder- 1 tsp
  6. Garlic - Ginger Paste- 3 tbsp
  7. Chat Masala- 1 tsp

Directions - 

  • Wash the Okra, drain the water and keep it aside.
  • After 10 minutes, cut the top and bottom of each okra and slit them in 4.
  • In a bowl, Mix salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, cumin powder and chat masala with garlic-ginger paste.
  • Fill this mixture in slitted Okra.
  • In a heated pan, add 2 tbsp of Oil and when heated reduce the flame to medium temperature. Add  the stuffed Okra in the oil.
  • Stir it slowly, so that you do not break the okra.
  • Cover it and let it cook for 5 minutes.
  • Open and again stir it and cook for another 10 minutes.
  • Each and every  Okra should be light brown from at least 1 side.
  • Your Okra is ready. Serve it hot  with Roti/ Tortilla.

Banana- Apple Smoothie

Ingredients for 2 glass-
  1. Banana- 1 Big(ripe will be better)`
  2. Apple- 1 ( chopped)
  3. Yogurt- 1 small cup
  4. Milk- 1 large cup
  5. Sugar- 3 tbsp
  6. Almond- 4 ( small chunks)
  7. Dry cherries- 2 tsp
  8. Whipped Cream-  1 tsp for each glass
  •  Mix banana, Apple, Yogurt, Milk and Sugar and blend it in a blender for a minute.
  • Pour it in a 2 glasses.
  • Add a spoon of whipped cream in each glass and stir it slowly by a spoon.
  • Garnish it with almond chunks and dry cherries, before serving.
  • Serve it chilled.

Mickey Mouse cake

Mickeymouse , a favorite cartoon character of toddlers, all over the world, this cake will defiitely brighten their mood.
  1. All Purpose flour- 2 cups
  2. Milk Powder- 1 cup
  3. Whipped Cream - 1 cup (for cake) + 2 cups (for icing)
  4. Cooking Oil- 1 cup
  5. Baking Powder- 1cup
  6. Sugar- 1 cup (for cake + 1 cup (for icing)
  7. Almonds - 1/2 cup (crushed)
  8. Oreo biscuits (not cream) - 1 cup (powdered) 
  9. Vanilla essence- 1tbsp
Directions - 
  • In a big bowl, mix all purpose flour, milk powder and baking powder.
  • In another Bowl, mix sugar, cream and cooking oil together, mix to make all the sugar crystals dissolved.
  • Slowly, transfer mixture of flour in mixture of sugar, stirring it continuously.
  • Add a cup of milk as required to make the batter thin, thin enough to make the spoon move easily in the batter.
  • Mix almond pieces in a batter.
  • In an oven cooking pan, Spray some oil with little of flour all over the pan.
  • Transfer the batter in a pan. Keep 2 tbsp of better aside to make 2 muffins. And transfer the batter in a muffin tray.
  • Cook inside the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes at 350 degree F temperature.
  • While your cake is getting cooked, beat the 2 cups of whipped cream in a bowl for a minute, add 1 cup of sugar ad keep beating for another 5 minutes.
  • Now, keep the icing, inside the freeze to let it settle down.
  • Take it out, insert a toothpick in the center of cake, it comes out clear, your cake is done, If no put it again for 5 minutes, and repeat the process.
  • Let the cake cool down outside oven for 3 hours.
  • Keep the cake in a serving tray, with the muffin on the top of the cake, making it ears of a mickeymouse.
  • With a sharp Knife, cut the edges of cake ad muffin.
  • Take the icing out of freeze ad start spreading it evenly all over the cake and muffin, add some icing between the cake and muffin, to stick them together.
  • Use rest of the icing to cover the sides of the cake.
  • Now, by a free hand draw an imaginary face of mickeymouse.
  • And spread the powdered Oreo for the head, eyes, nose and mouth.
  • Keep it inside refrigerator for an hour before serving.
